Support Services
During The Academy, HYSF maintains close contact with Scholars and their families. We recognize that Scholars’ success relies on family support. The parents in our program want better for their children, but do not always have the life skills or experiences to effectively advocate for and support their children. To support parents, HYSF holds regular Family Information Meetings. These meetings include Financial Aid Workshops, social events, and Individual Placement Meetings, to name just a few. After completing the academic component of the program, HYSF staff continues to provide support services to Scholars and their families while Scholars attend high school and as they apply for and while they attend college.
