Primary Program
The Steppingstone Academy Hartford is HYSF’s primary program; it combines 14-months/26-months of rigorous out-of-school and after-school academic enrichment and 5+ years of support services for families and Scholars. Whether Steppingstone Scholars get into an independent school or not, if they complete the 14-month academic component of the program, they get HYSF support services throughout high school. The ultimate goal is college graduation, and we mobilize multiple resources to ensure that Scholars access college regardless of the social and academic challenges they face.
